The Company
Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. For maternity cover they are recruiting for a Quality Officer.
The Role
- Will be site based.
- You will perform QA activities supporting the overall quality management system, in accordance with ISO 9001/GMP guidelines.
- Maintain, monitor and review all QA activities in the site quality management system, driving quality compliance actions to completion.
- Batch document review and approval of final product to end markets.
- Provide QA approval on change controls, deviations, OOS, complaints.
- Provide support for internal and external audits.
- Generate quality technical agreements, using effective communication with end customers and distributors.
- Take part in customer meetings where applicable.
- Coordinate with the wider organisation on customer complaints, deviations and QMS related activities.
- Perform review and approval of validation protocol and reports.
- Act as delegate for Quality manager in all QA aspects, where required.
The Person
- Will have experience in a similar role withing manufacturing.
- You must have a keen interest in science.
- ISO 9001/GMP guidelines experience is essential.
- Good communication and organisation skills.
- Computer literature with good word and excel skills.
- Ability to solve problems and prioritise workload.
- Good attention to detail.
- Will be willing to work on a FTC.
