Job Overview

As the Lead Business Systems Analyst, you will report to the Senior Director of IT (US-based) and play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP solutions to support our business objectives. Your expertise will guide cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of business processes, technical impacts, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary SAP functional expert across the organization.
  • Analyze business requirements, consult with departments, and recommend technical solutions to enhance processes.
  • Propose, evaluate, and implement new systems, software upgrades, and modifications.
  • Balance and prioritize the needs of multiple departments to deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Lead strategic planning for systems and application development.
  • Act as a technical lead on business improvement projects.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes for cross-functional projects.
  • Develop and deliver user training sessions and maintain comprehensive documentation for users and support teams.
  • Provide or coordinate training for subject matter experts in functional and adjacent business areas.
  • Create detailed functional specifications for application development.
  • Assess cost-benefit analyses for system enhancement projects.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, business, or related field.
  • Relevant IT certifications or completed technology training programs.
  • Minimum of six years’ experience with SAP ECC, particularly in SD (Sales and Distribution), with knowledge of FI (Finance) and WM (Warehouse Management).
  • Strong understanding of SAP systems, customer service, sales, and distribution processes.
  • Proven ability to develop technical documentation and training materials.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex SAP SD and WM issues and meeting internal SLA standards.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional, multinational teams on complex IT projects.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address diverse business needs.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently as a subject matter expert and collaboratively within a global team.
