Electrician

S&D Trade Recruitment is supporting our client based in Ashington in their search for a Multi Skilled Electrician.  This is a permanent position and a great opportunity to join a well-established property maintenance team working across a variety of domestic and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with solid experience in repairs and general maintenance. You’ll need to be confident working on-site, managing your own workload, and delivering high standards of work and service. In return, you’ll be part of a respected organisation that values its people, with excellent benefits and job security.  Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.  Salary: £38,225 per annum (inclusive of April 2025 pay award) – OTE £43,000 including standby.

Multi Skilled Electrician Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical repairs and maintenance work across homes and commercial properties.
• Tackle a mix of planned jobs and responsive repairs, often involving other basic trades.
• Travel between properties as needed.
• Maintain a professional and friendly approach when dealing with tenants or clients on-site
• Keep accurate records of work and report any follow-up actions required.
• Maintain Health and Safety as per company protocols.

Multi Skilled Electrician What We are Looking For:

• Required Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Must have18th Edition wiring regulations and Testing & Inspection certification.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience working in property maintenance or facilities management.
• A practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
• Someone who takes pride in their work and always puts the customer first.
• Strong communication skillset, with ability to meet deadlines.
