About the Role: As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Primary, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and helping students achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students, providing one-on-one or small group support, and assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. This Graduate Teaching Assistant in a Primary school position offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
- Support students with their learning activities, ensuring they understand and complete tasks.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and lunchtimes.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school community.
Requirements:
- Recent graduate with a passion for education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A positive and proactive attitude towards helping students.
- Basic knowledge of child development and educational practices.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare is an advantage.
