My client is currently looking to strengthen its Health and Safety Team with an additionalHealth. Safety and Environment Manager.

TheHealth, Safety and EnvironmentManagerwill form an integral part of the Management Team;working across all aspects of the business with the aim of delivering world class Health, Safety and Environment Leadership, implementing a shift in the culture and how HSQE is viewed.

TheHealth, Safety and EnvironmentManager will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing developing, implementing and monitoringall management systems relating to Health and Safety
  • Ensuring that staff, visitors and contractors are sufficiently trained to comply with current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.
  • Reviewing, monitoring and evaluatingexistingpractices,whilst keeping abreast of new and upcoming legislation
  • Supporting and advising all departments on requiredtraining, delivering specific training as required by the business to ensure Company Environmental, Health and Safety systems and procedures are being followed.

The idealHealth, Safety and EnvironmentManager will have a breadth of experience, ideally within themanufacturing, construction and/or agricultural sectors. You will also:

  • Have aproven track record in delivering improvements in performance.
  • Be confident influencing and communicating with stakeholders at all levels of the business, from Board members to those on the shop floor.
  • Be able to assess and understand the needs of a business, and transition this to short-mid and long term development plans.
  • Possess excellent people management skills and be able to build a team.
