British Garden Centres seeks highly enthusiastic individual support for the growing of a wide range of potted stock at one of their new facilities in Warwickshire.

This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious business with an energetic team who want to produce high-quality stock to sell through their retail stores nationwide.

The successful candidate does not necessarily need to possess decades of crop production experience. What they should possess is a good work ethic, asking lots of questions, good listening skills and the ability to interpret the instructions. Ability to work alone and as part of a team when needed and a passion for plants and desire to succeed. Full support and regular training will be provided.

What's the job?

As a grower, you'll be well-versed in the daily tasks that come with the role-no surprises here. From managing pests and irrigation to weeding and coordinating with your team, you'll ensure that everything is done at the right time and to the highest standard.

On the supervisory side, you'll play a crucial role in supporting, training, and developing your team, helping them master all aspects of growing top-quality plants.

Horticultural experience and relevant qualifications are highly valued, and having a PA1 and PA6 spraying certificate would be a great asset.
