Premier Work Support are now recruiting for experienced candidates to work as a School Keeper in Ashtead.

This is a temporary role that may become permanent for the right candidate. Mandatory requirements:

  • Valid Enhanced DBS
  • Driver license sa the role involves driving

Accountabilities:

  • The smooth running of the Gatehouse, with in the policies and procedures, following the Senior School Keepers instructions.
  • Ensuring that the minibuses are fit for purpose, reporting faults and damage to the Operations manager and ensuring the minibuses are kept regularly clean and tidy so that the school reputation is kept.
  • Portering duties to include setting up and co-ordinating rooms for examinations, open days/evenings and events/functions.
  • Ensuring that all furniture/set ups are moved in a timely manner and returned to store immediately after the event at the first opportunity.
  • To move various items around site such as laundry, furniture, exam tables and chairs.
  • Monitor, store and supply all the stationery required by the school, ensure all orders are placed via the Bursary in the correct format.
  • Collection and delivery of post and internal mail around the school premises.
  • Where required, escort visitors to various departments within the school.
  • Support with station runs pickups and drop offs (school car).
  • Visitor collections and VIP's, pupils to Dr's, prescription pickups, Bank runs.
  • Collect internal post and deliver to appropriate areas twice daily.
  • Regularly check main board for weekly set ups.
  • Recycling clearance from main kitchen daily.
  • Support with carparking management at school parent pick up.
  • School crossing cover.
  • Drive safely a variety of vehicles both on and off campus.
  • Support the wider team in the clearing of rubbish and clutter around the grounds and bin
  • stores.
