We are recruiting for a permanent Mechanical Maintenance Engineer a well established plant hire company based in Saint Helens Merseyside, supporting house builders and the construction industry on a national basis. We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the latest plant machinery backed up by 1st class service.

Hours:

 

Monday to Friday - 39 hours (Either 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm)

Varied Overtime available at x1.5
Weekends optional

Performance Bonus

 

Salary: £35k per annum depending on experience

Location: Haydock (St Helens, Merseyside)

 

About the role:

 

We currently have an opportunity to join the team as a mechanical plant engineer. This position requires the engineer to carry out routine maintenance and servicing on our hire fleet, troubleshooting mechanical issues and communicating with our service team. We are looking for a candidate with prior experience working on JCB telehandlers and ground working equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Must have NVQ qualifications in plant maintenance
  • Carry out scheduled inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturers specifications.
  • Carry out all tasks in compliance with the company's environmental and health and safety procedures.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team.
