Overview of business and role:
This role will be to assist the Regional Manager, in an exciting, fast-growing business.
You will be working for the UK’s leading workplace fruit provider. We produce high-quality fruit baskets for companies to provide a healthy work environment for their staff.
The North Hub based in Ashton-Under-Lyne requires a Route Driver/Packer to assist in packing and delivery of fruit baskets.
The Route Driver/Packer will help coordinate the activities required to meet company quality standards and deliveries to meet customer expectations, whilst demonstrating the company values and behaviours.You will therefore have some experience and knowledge within the following areas:
- Be punctual and of smart appearance
- Early starter as this will require a 4 am start
- Good eye for quality
- Experience of driving a Transit van
- Good customer service skills as you will meet clients
- Good geographical and road knowledge of Birmingham area, and Midlands preferable
- Diving licence (no more than 3 points)
- No driving disqualifications within the last 10 yearsPositive "can do" attitude is essential
A clean driving licence with a minimum 2 years delivery experience is essential.
For insurance purposes you must be over 25 years old.

This may be started part way through the recruitment process.The role initially will be 2 days per week Monday to Wednesday between 04.00 am and 06.00 am start each day. Exact hours will be discussed during the interview.Pay rate is £11.45 per hour.
