About the company:

A large well-known public-sector business based in the heart of Ashton are looking for someone to join the team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting chance to work with this business, in a busy team where no 2 days are the same and every conversation had with users is different.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice, supply information and supporting residents/service users where necessary
  • Queries include: Council tax, Housing Benefit, Tax support and much more
  • The appointed person will assist in making claims in respect of housing benefits
  • Assess and process applications
  • Helping with applications relating to blue badges
  • Attend weekly meetings and continuous training meetings
  • Plus much more

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience working within customer service handling complex queries
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to multi task - Log info/navigate around systems whilst communicating on the phone
  • Work to strict deadlines

The working hours are Monday to Friday typical office hours, and the hourly rate of pay is £11.44 and this is paid on a weekly basis.

Please note that due to the nature of this business and the access the appointed person will have on the systems, you will need to have a DBS carried out against you.
