The Recruitment Co are recruiting for a warehouse administrator in Ashton - Under - Lyne area.Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
    • Ensure timely and accurate stock updates.
    • Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or surpluses.
    • Implement and maintain stock control systems.
  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Process incoming and outgoing shipments.
    • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
    • Prepare shipping documents and labels.
    • Coordinate with shipping and receiving personnel.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities.
    • Process and file relevant paperwork.
    • Generate reports on inventory levels, shipments, and other key metrics.
  • Warehouse Operations Support:
    • Assist with organising and maintaining a clean and efficient warehouse environment.
    • Support warehouse staff with administrative tasks.
    • Liaise with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and accounting.
  • Other Duties:
    • May be involved in hiring and training warehouse staff.
    • May oversee and supervise warehouse operations.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
    • May be required to assist with loading and unloading trucks.

Pay: £12.21 per hour for the first 12 weeks.Shift : Monday - Thursday , 8am -4pm and Friday 8am -3:30pmSkills and Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills .
  • Excellent attention to detail .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) .
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) .
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills .
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team .
  • High school diploma or equivalent .
  • Some experience in a warehouse environment is preferred .
