Key Stage 2 (KS2) Teacher - Full-Time, Temporary
Location: Ashton, Tameside
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (February Half Term 2025 - July 2025)

TimePlan Education is excited to be working with a fantastic primary school in Ashton, Tameside, seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. This full-time role will begin after the February half-term and continue until the end of the academic year in July 2025.



The Role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum. You'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative school environment, nurturing pupils' academic progress and personal development.



Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils in KS2.
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, ensuring all children achieve their potential.
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and respect.
  • Managing behaviour effectively to maintain a safe and focused learning atmosphere.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support pupils' progress.
  • Participating in school activities, events, and staff meetings as required.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, passionate teacher who is dedicated to providing the best learning experiences for their pupils.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching within KS2.
  • A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach.
  • An enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to apply).
