Role: A Level Maths Teacher Location: Greater Manchester Type: Full time, temporary Rate: £30 - £35 per hour (36 hours per week paid) Eden Brown are recruiting an enthusiastic, A Level Maths Teacher on behalf of a leading Sixth Form College in Greater Manchester. This is an ongoing, temporary, full-time role to start as soon as possible. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about Mathematics and has a strong commitment to supporting students academic development. Job Description: As an A Level Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students studying Mathematics at A Level, guiding them through their learning journey, and preparing them for exams. You will work with a diverse group of students, supporting their academic needs while maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the A Level Maths curriculum. * Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential * Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment. * Provide individual and group support to students as required, including those with additional learning needs. * Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources. To apply to the role you will have: * A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject. * QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification (or in progress). * Experience teaching A Level Maths * Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to inspire and motivate students. * A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning A DBS is also needed for this role.
