Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for aSecurity Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Ashton-under-Lyne

This vacancy is for weekend work on a construction site, you will undertake duties including access and egress control to the site, managing visitors, monitoring CCTV, completing reports and many more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be providing an efficient and effective security service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
  • Managing the access of the site, and completing logs where required.
  • Regular site patrols, check calls and reporting of incidents.
  • You will have a high standard of professionalism and be extremely security-conscious.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
  • To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directives.
  • To maintain logs of messages and the arrival of visitors.
  • To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear the correct uniform.
  • To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
  • To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a busy security role
  • Strong people and customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • A drive to succeed by working as part of a close-knit team
  • We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • You need to be well-presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
  • A criminal record check, employment history and Right to Work check.
  • SIA license is a requirement.
  • Driving license is required
