Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for aSecurity Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at our client’s site in Ashton-under-Lyne
This vacancy is for weekend work on a construction site, you will undertake duties including access and egress control to the site, managing visitors, monitoring CCTV, completing reports and many more.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be providing an efficient and effective security service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained across the site.
- Managing the access of the site, and completing logs where required.
- Regular site patrols, check calls and reporting of incidents.
- You will have a high standard of professionalism and be extremely security-conscious.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
- Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
- To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
- To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directives.
- To maintain logs of messages and the arrival of visitors.
- To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear the correct uniform.
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adhering to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.
- To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures.
About You:
- Previous experience in a busy security role
- Strong people and customer service skills
- Effective communication skills
- A drive to succeed by working as part of a close-knit team
- We want to see enthusiasm, a proactive attitude and your ability to deliver excellent customer service.
- You need to be well-presented, punctual and focused on attention to detail.
- A criminal record check, employment history and Right to Work check.
- SIA license is a requirement.
- Driving license is required
