Hays Healthcare is actively recruiting Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners (RMN) in Ashton for a job opportunity for qualified mental health professionals who can provide assessment, treatment, and support to patients with complex mental health needs in an acute inpatient setting.
Your new job role
- Providing high quality, evidence-based, and person-centred care to patients with acute mental health problems
- Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and liaising with other services and agencies
- Undertaking comprehensive risk assessments, management plans and referrals
- Providing brief crisis interventions and follow-up appointments for individuals
- Developing and implementing care plans and recovery goals with patients and their carers
- Supervising and supporting junior staff and students
- Participating in clinical audit, research, and service development activities
What you'll need to succeed
- Registered RMN
- Having experience of working in acute mental health settings and with complex cases
- Having excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Having a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
