Role: GCSE Maths and English Support (Adults) Location: Greater Manchester Type: Part Time Temp Rate of pay: £16 - £18 per hour Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and compassionate GCSE Maths and English Support Worker on a temporary, part-time basis on a Monday and Tuesday. This role is designed to support adult learners (aged 19+) who are working towards achieving their GCSE qualifications in Maths and English. You will provide tailored academic assistance, helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities: * Provide one-on-one and small group support in GCSE Maths and English to adult learners. * Assist with lesson preparation, revision, and exam techniques. * Help students improve their understanding of key concepts and develop independent study skills. * Work closely with teachers and other staff to monitor progress and adapt support strategies as needed. * Encourage and motivate students to overcome barriers to learning. * A strong understanding of GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent). * Previous experience in a support role, tutoring, or teaching environment is preferred but not essential. * Ability to communicate clearly and adult learners of different backgrounds. * Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards learning. * Strong organisational and time-management skills.
