We are on the lookout for a Food Technology Teacher to join an an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school located in Ashton-Under-Lyne on a 12 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. Key Responsibilities of a Food Technology Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and progress in line with the school's curriculum
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations, providing support and guidance to achieve their full potential
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
What we're looking for in a Food Technology Teacher:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and relevant experience in teaching Food Technology
- Passionate about the subject and committed to delivering high-quality education
- Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
