The businessare seeking to recruit a CNC Programmer (Miller) - they are an established precision engineering company who produce precision milled and turned parts and components, they are seeking to add and to strengthen their team.
Reporting to the Works Manager - the main purpose of the role to program, set, and operate CNC Milling machines to produce precision machines parts and components.
Key responsibilities and duties would be;
- Programming, setting and operation of 3 & 4 axis milling machinery
- Read, interpret and understand technical drawing details
- Ensure machines arerunning to optimal level
- Resolve any issues or problems with the machines or escalate any issues that are unable to be rectified
- Use of measuring equipment to establish correct fit and tolerance of machined parts to drawings
I would be keen to receive your application if you hold the following experience;
- Previous experience of programming and operation of 3 & 4 axis milling machinery
- Good working knowledge of Heidenhain online control systems
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked with a number of materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel etc
- Able to work afternoons
The role is afternoons - Monday to Wednesday 4pm to 2pm - Thursday 3pm to Midnight
The company are based near Nuneaton so would be commutable from Tamworth, Coventry, Hinckley, Birmingham, Coalville
Salary - 30,000 to 35,000 per annum
