The role: HR Coordinator/HR Advisor Salary: £33,250Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week on-site

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our client's team as a HR Coordinator/HR Advisor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operations by managing employee relations cases/processes, including absence, capability, disciplinary, and grievances, ensuring successful resolution.
  • Prepare letters and relevant documentation for HR processes.
  • Provide regular updates to the HR Manager and escalate complex or high-risk cases.
  • Support employees and managers with day-to-day HR inquiries.
  • Monitor and record absences for review and action as needed, including arranging and managing Occupational Health referrals.
  • Provide HR advice and guidance to team members and managers on policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Assist the HR Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives, including wellbeing, diversity, equality, inclusion, and employee engagement projects.

The Candidate Will:

  • Have a friendly and professional approach, with a passion for working with people.
  • Have proven experience in managing complex Employee Relations cases, from start to resolution.
  • Possess good working knowledge of current employment legislation and its application in the workplace.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, ensuring communications with team members are timely, accurate, and in line with best practices.
  • Ideally be CIPD Level 3 qualified or working towards this, or have relevant experience in a previous HR role.
  • Be computer literate and comfortable with Word and Excel.
