Location – Coventry

Our client is seeking a skilled Universal Grinder to join the team. As a Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines to achieve precise components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate grinding machines to tight tolerances.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels and fixtures.
• Inspect components for quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings and monitor operations.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Experience with surface and universal grinding machines
• Knowledge of tooling and grinding wheel selection
• Proficiency in reading component drawings
• Basic math skills for measuring
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
