What You'll do:
As a Honer, you will:
- Produce steel parts for brake control valves for future Aerospace products
- Set and operate Honing machines to meet specifications of products in a timely manner with correct quality expected
- Perform tight tolerance measurements for precision work
- Ball lapping of products to meet specification requirements
- Use various tools applicable to Honing and Ball Lapping technical requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Honing and/or sufficient knowledge of practical Honing use
- Use of Honing in a transferable Manufacturing environment
- Previous experience of delivering to a tight tolerance measurement
- Experience with Ball Lapping in a similar industry
- High attention to detail
- Eagerness to progress and learn
- Excellent team-player without a big ego
What else do you need to know?
- Full training is provided at every step
- The hours for this role are day shift (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thu, 07:00-12:30 Fri)
- Overtime available once fully trained
