I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing, dynamic online business in Attleborough for an experienced and qualified Financial Controller. This is a hands-on role within a small, close-knit finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director as their No. 2.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in a forward-thinking, fast-paced company that is poised for further expansion. You'll work operationally across the group businesses, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial functions while contributing to strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily financial operations across multiple group entities.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Lead on cash flow management and ensure robust financial controls are in place.
  • Oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the Finance Director with strategic projects and growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with proven post-qualification experience.
  • Hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-moving or SME environment.
  • Strong technical accounting skills combined with a commercial mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with non-financial teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
