  • Maintenance & Repairs: Lead and coordinate frontline maintenance, breakdown response, improvement projects, and preventative maintenance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support the engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of food safety and quality from farm to fork.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work closely with production to prioritise tasks, minimise downtime, and enhance overall efficiency.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification
  • Proven experience in engineering, including team leadership
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and relevant engineering standards
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and technical knowledge
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Shift Leader or similar managerial role
  • Health and Safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH)
  • Additional certifications (Training provided):
    • Level 2 Food Safety
    • Level 2 Health and Safety
    • Environmental Awareness
    • COSHH
    • Manual Handling
