Electrical Maintenance Engineer
We are looking for a electrically biased maintenance engineer with experience working in a poultry or meat environment responding to production breakdowns and delivering planned preventative maintenance.

Shift Pattern: 2 Week Rotation

  • Week 1 – Monday to Friday 05:00 – 15:00
  • Week 2 – Monday to Friday 16:00 – 02:00
  • One Saturday in 4 (06:00 – 12:00)

Key Job Role

  • Working on a wide range of Poultry processing and packing machinery such as conveyors, module and tray transport systems, plucking equipment, evisceration machinery, tray sealers, flow wrappers and vacuum sealers. There is also a requirement to carryout fault finding on PLC systems, electrical installation and work on small projects.

Job Related Experience, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds or Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, Electrical / Mechanical 
  • 17th/18th Edition I.E.E. regulations
  • Competency in PLC’s preferred
  • Welding skills (MIG/TIG/ARC)
  • Ability to read, understand and work with schematic drawings 
  • Experience of working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred
