This established company is small and has a full order book. They require a Production Technician that has experience within a manufacturing assembly environment with a working knowledge of machines, control panels and PLCs.

Duties Include:
- Mechanical and electrical assembly of Test Rig machines and sub-assemblies used within the aerospace industry.
- Working from CAD drawings and work instructions.
- Wiring of control panels and cabinets.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Work within the requirements of the companys Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Policies.
- Promoting safety and continuous improvement within the production facility at all times.
- Periodic travel to customers for onsite service and support.
- HNC or apprenticeship in Mechanical / Electrical engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment of machine assembly and testing.
- Ability to understand CAD drawings and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good understanding of electrical and pneumatic system assembly.
- Knowledge and safe operation of workshop machinery including Lathe, Milling Machine, Pedestal Drill, Press and hand tools.
- Computer literacy, maintaining records and following procedures.
- Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Clean UK driving license

8.00 5.00 Monday Thursday (1/2 hour unpaid break) and Friday 8.00 2.30 (1/2 hour unpaid break) = 40 hour week
Salary:
Starting salary £28,000 per annum
