Are you based in Perth or Stirling and looking for an opportunity to get into Occupational Health?

We are seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our clients expanding peripatetic team.

The successful applicant will be required to travel throughout the UK, to client sites in order to deliver health surveillance services.

This is a full-time role where the successful applicant will work 37.5 hours per week, usually between the hours of 8.30am and 4:30pm.

You will be undertaking:

  • Health surveillance screening.
  • Audiometry
  • Lung function testing.
  • Drug and alcohol testing.
  • General baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis.
  • To undertake and support additional tasks as requested, such as health promotion activities.
  • Provide support to the whole occupational health team in helping the department to run smoothly and effectively, undertaking non-clinical tasks as requested.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous Occupational Health experience inc. health surveillance and/or fitness for work medicals
  • Able to complete overnight stays and extensive travel throughout the UK (overnight stays maybe Monday - Friday depending on client requirements)
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Experience and/or willingness to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Competent IT user (MS office suite and/or electronic medical records systems)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Great communication skills
