As the Financial Controller, you will oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective financial planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial management. This is a great opportunity to work with a close team
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations including costings, inventory accounting, looking at margins, staff costs, profitability, overheads, management accounting and productivity of each site
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish reports required by other Managers
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Provide leadership and support to the finance team and non-finance members and act as the 'go to person' for finance queries
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Qualified or qualified by experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
