Our client, an established and successful components manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to support their Sales Team as well as provide an excellent service to their customers. This is a unique opportunity for someone to really make their mark and to be instrumental in the continued growth of the business. The role will be fully office based, Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm.

Your duties as a Sales Administrator will include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring the sales inbox accurately inputting all customer orders, using ERP.
  • Answering incoming telephone calls.
  • Producing customer invoices and answering related queries.
  • Raising quotes and processing PO’s to create sales orders.
  • Carrying out all necessary operations with orders on the phone or via email.
  • Using ERP and other internal systems to answer customer stock queries.
  • Responding to sales related queries to provide a resolution best suited to the customer as well as the business.
  • Updating and maintaining the CRM with a high level of accuracy.
  • Keeping clients updated and advising of any issues.
  • Supporting the Sales team with quotes (up to the value of £5k)
  • Be aware of and learn about stock and stock management procedures.
  • Looking after stock control & stock levels.
  • Placing stock orders with Head Office in Germany and keeping in contact with them regarding lead times and order information.
  • Other administrative activities and support when needed.

To be a successful Sales Administrator you must be:

  • Self-motivated and organised with a strong attention to detail.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
  • Eager to learn and build up technical knowledge.
  • Comfortable working as part of a small team requiring flexibility and adaptability.
  • Experienced with ERP system/stock control and CRM.
  • Experienced in dealing with B2B customers.
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office and CRM.
