We are looking for a Accounts Administrator to join them on a full time, temporary to permanent basis, starting ASAP. Please note this role in office based in Princes Risborough.

The Role

As the AccountsAdministrator, you will assist the finance team with various administrative tasks related to the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role will provide exposure to key financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Help reconcile bank statements and internal financial records.
  • Support the finance team in preparing financial reports, including basic data entry and report formatting.
  • Assist with the preparation of invoices and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and records.
  • Help with data entry for other financial transactions.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including answering enquiries and filing financial documents.
  • Learn and assist with financial analysis and budgeting processes under the guidance of senior finance team members.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

About You

This is a busy role which requires the ability to work to strict deadlines and often under pressure. Key attributes we are looking for include:

  • A keen interest in finance and accounting, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • The ability to work in a high-pressured environment and to deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
