CNC Machinist

Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an organized CNC Machinist from a manufacturing background to take the lead in manufacturing high quality parts!

CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

Conventional machining including turning, vertical boring & drilling etc. of various components in accordance with the drawings as instructed
The setting & operation of CNC drilling & milling machines
Machining of Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium & CuNi materials as instructed
Manufacture work in line with the tolerances and dimensions stated on our drawings
Participate with all ISO 9001 quality requirements as dictated by procedures
Participate in the quality control process relevant to the work carried out

The ideal CNC Machinist will:

Have experience of setting and operating machinery
Have understanding of programming and setting of CNC Lathes and tools
Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
Understanding of Metrology and the use of Metrology equipment
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (desirable)
Be IT Literate (desirable)

Monday - Friday: 06:00 - 14:00
