Up to £45,000 Per Annum

Our client, design, develop and fabricate precision components and for industries including motorsport. They are looking for skilled and enthusiastic CNC Machinist to join their team!

CNC Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the CNC Machine Shop, working with Lathes and Mills
  • Setting, operating and programming lathes
  • Programming using FANUC controls
  • Hands on machine operating/programming and offline programming
  • Working on 3 and 5 axis Hurco Mills using Hypermill programming
  • Assessing engineering drawings to establish a criteria for a job / strategy
  • Implementing the strategy with consideration to which machine, or combination thereof gives the most efficient use of time and resources, available tooling and whether new tooling is required
  • Assessing and agreeing lead times with the Machine shop supervisor
  • Ensuring quality targets are always met
  • Liaise with Quality Engineer so that all parties are aware of tolerance limits
  • Maintain machine maintenance schedules

The ideal CNC Machinist will:

  • Be an experienced CNC Machinist
  • Be able to operate and program Milling machines
  • Have a proven track record in operating CNC, Lathe, 3 & 5 axis milling experience
  • Have experience in online and offline programming (offline is beneficial but not essential)
  • Hold a relevant qualifications within engineering

07:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday
