My Client is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist with extensive knowledge of FANUC controls to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, FANUC controls, and the ability to work with various materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Operation:
    • Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, using FANUC controls.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining operations.
    • Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.
    • Monitor machine operations to ensure compliance with specifications and make necessary adjustments.
  • Programming:
    • Develop and modify CNC programs using G-code and M-code on FANUC controllers.
    • Optimize machining processes for efficiency, quality, and tool life.
    • Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and improve machining processes.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
    • Ensure all components meet tight tolerances and quality standards.
    • Document and maintain records of production, including setup sheets, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
  • Maintenance:
    • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
    • Identify and report any machine malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
    • Comply with all regulatory requirements and company quality standards
