Data Analyst
Buckinghamshire (Hybrid)
Permanent Role: £45k Plus Package
We've partnered with a global business who are looking for a Data Analyst to provide key analysis and MI to both internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and insightful data and MI products and services, supporting the business in achieving its goals.
Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:
- Prepare and deliver scheduled and ad-hoc reports to internal and external stakeholders to support and guide decision-making.
- Develop solutions to enhance the delivery and consistency of data and management information (MI).
- Review and audit data for accuracy, identifying and addressing issues as needed.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from various departments across the business.
- Provide input and support in the development, testing, and implementation of new or enhanced reporting systems.
- Support other team members within the Decision Support Team.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Skills required for the Data Analyst:
- Strong business partnering skills.
- Proficiency in SQL or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of Tableau and Salesforce is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to address a broad range of commercial issues.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
- Good communication skills, with experience working across all levels of an organization.
- Team player with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, macros, and functions such as VLOOKUPS, INDEX, MATCH, COUNTIF, and IF.
- Ability to produce, explain, and present accurate dashboards, reports, and other outputs in a user-friendly and consistent manner.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in commercial modeling.
- Previous experience in budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reporting.
- Strong academic background: undergraduate degree, first-time passes in accountancy exams, and/or good A levels or A level equivalents.
