Shift Maintenance Engineer (FMCG) 

Training and unlimited progression

Salary: £40,000-£42,000 (£45,000 post probation) OTE: £50,000

Location: Aylesbury

A world renowned FMCG manufacturing company based in Aylesbury are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled shift engineer (Electrical Bias) to join their current team. The business is growing massively, with several new sites being added this year alone. The company has forcasted large profits over the next 12-months, the investment into the engineering team has nearly doubled and the company are able to offer extensive internal training, many progression opportunities for maintenance engineers and the option to move into a other skilled role. This position will require the successful candidate to perform both planned and reactive maintenance on the production line, mostly dealing with electrical faults although there is a requirement to assist with mechanical maintenance, so the need to be multi-skilled is essential. You will be working on a rotating days & nights shift pattern, with each shift being 12-hours. Added with a competitive salary package and many overtime opportunities, there is also a company pension in place. 

The Shift Maintenance Engineer will need for this role:

  • Multi-skilled Engineer who is competent electrically and mechanically (ELECTRICAL BIAS)
  • Must hold an electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 minimum)
  • Okay working days & nights rotating shift pattern
  • Can be from an manufacturing, industrial or armed forces background (RAF, ARMY, NAVY, MARINE ETC)
