Import Logistics Coordinator - Defence Sector

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Import Logistics Coordinator to join a leading organisation in the defence sector.

This role sits within the Export Logistics team, managing 70-100 imports per month within newly implemented import processes-making this a great time to join.

Location: Onsite in Denham, near UxbridgeHours: 12:15 pm finish on Fridays!Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Import Operations - Oversee import coordination, including sourcing, repairs, and Return Material Authorisation (RMA). Work with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline imports.
  • Customs Compliance - You must have proven experience handling Inward Processing Relief (IPR) from RMA to Bill of Discharge. Collaborate with import brokers to ensure full compliance with trade regulations.
  • Documentation & Audit - Maintain comprehensive shipment records and verify shipping documents for accuracy and customs compliance.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Work closely with internal teams and external partners, ensuring efficient problem-solving and professional collaboration.

Who We're Looking For:

  • IPR experience is essential - Please do not apply unless you have direct experience managing Inward Processing Relief.
  • Strong background in international transportation or logistics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP or similar ERP experience is a plus).
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and a strong communicator.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
