Dalton Recruitment is excited to be partnering with this internationally expanding IT services firm to secure them an L&D Consultant on a permanent, full-time basis to play a pivotal role in equipping their multinational sales team to have the skills, knowledge, mindset and behaviours to thrive. In addition, the L&D Consultant will work closely with the leadership team, shaping how they upskill their people and embed best practices that will support the success of their international growth strategy.
The role offers a hybrid working pattern (3 in their Buckinghamshire office, 2 from home) and attracts a base salary between £40,000-£50,000 + Bonus + Benefits.

Upskilling Multinational Sales Teams:
- Take full ownership of identifying, designing, and delivering learning solutions that enhance the skills, knowledge, behaviours and capabilities of multinational sales teams.
- Develop and implement bespoke learning interventions that drive performance and support the complexities of selling to multinational customers.
- Work symbiotically with the UK Sales L&D team on projects and wider strategy, contributing to initiatives and projects that support multinational sales capability development.
- Continuously assess impact, measure results, and refine programmes and interventions based on feedback and performance data
Educating UK Sales Team on Multinational Customer Relationships:
- Design and deliver learning interventions to upskill the UK sales team on best practices and model behaviours for working with large, global customers.
- Provide training that enhances the team's understanding of the complexities involved in managing relationships with global customers.
- Partner with sales & multinational leadership to identify key areas for development and tailor training accordingly.
Stakeholder Management:
- Understanding business priorities by partnering with multinational leadership, taking ownership of capability and onboarding needs to ensure employees have the right skills and support.
- Act as a key liaison between L&D Early Careers & Business Operations teams, ensuring onboarding and upskilling needs for multinational employees and non-sales teams are identified and met.
- Serve as an ambassador for both the multinational team and L&D team, promoting the value of continuous learning and professional development.
Support Global Onboarding:
- Working in collaboration with our induction team, and tailor onboarding content to accommodate different time zones, cultural sensitivities and resource availability.
- Where needed support the delivery of onboarding programmes for all new employees joining the multinational team.
Upskilling Multinational Non-Sales Teams:
- Work closely with the Business Operations L&D team to identify the capability needs of non-sales roles within the multinational team.
- Act as a conduit, ensuring that upskilling requirements are effectively communicated, and progress is tracked.
- Partner with Business Operations L&D to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and meet the needs of the business.
Key Skills to Be Considered:
- Proven experience in a Learning & Development role with the ability to design and deliver impactful learning interventions for sales teams, ideally with a global or multi-regional structure.
- A track record of collaborating with senior stakeholders and leadership to align L&D initiatives with business priorities.
- Ability to measure and report on the impact of learning interventions, using analytics and data to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong expertise in instructional design and learning experience design, applying modern learning theory to create learner-centred, practical, and behaviour-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and the ability to design training programmes that respect and leverage these nuances.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with experience delivering training both in-person and virtually.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work on time.
- Experience working with international sales teams and in a multinational role would be desirable.
- UK based role but willingness to travel across the UK office and internationally as required.
