We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS3 Teaching Assistant to work with schools in the Aylesbury area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on the educational journey of their Key Stage 3 students.
Role Overview:
As a KS3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced teaching staff in delivering high-quality education to children in year 7 & 8. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom activities, providing one-on-one support to students, and contributing to the overall positive atmosphere of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher with delivering engaging lessons
- Work closely with individual students or small groups to provide targeted assistance
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
- Assist in the preparation and organisation of educational materials
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage a love for learning
Qualifications and Skills:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) desired but not essential
- Previous experience working with Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 or Key Stage 4 students is advantageous
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for education
