Are you an experienced educator with a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have a strong understanding of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and how to tailor learning to meet individual needs?
We are working in partnership with a well-established Further Education college in Buckinghamshire to recruit a Lecturer in Inclusive Practice at their Aylesbury campus. In this role, you will support students with EHCPs, helping them develop the skills they need to transition into employment, further study, or independent living.
The Role:As a Lecturer in Inclusive Practice, you will play a key role in designing and delivering engaging learning experiences that empower students with SEND to achieve their full potential.
?? Your Responsibilities Will Include:? Planning and delivering innovative and accessible learning programmes.? Providing tailored support to overcome individual barriers to learning.? Helping students progress towards their EHCP outcomes and future aspirations.? Preparing learners for the next steps, whether that's further education, supported internships, employment, or local authority provision.? Using digital tools and creative teaching methods to engage students effectively.
Who We're Looking For:? Experience working with SEND learners, preferably in a Further Education or specialist setting.? A strong understanding of EHCPs and how to adapt teaching to meet students' needs.? The ability to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.? A passion for empowering young people with SEND to achieve their full potential.? Teaching qualifications are desirable, but industry professionals looking to transition into education will also be supported.
