Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to support and lead the Nursery in the day to day management. You will need to be an experienced Nursery manager, have experience of running large nurseries, have worked with budgets, financials, know how to market your nursery, grow occupancy, and team, lead and support your team, and ideally have taken a nursery through a recent Ofsted Inspection. Working a 38hr week, with salary up to £45k depending on experience, together with great benefits and onsite parking.
Based in Wendover within walking distance of mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury. Our purpose built 101 place nursery houses a bespoke sensory room, as well as drama and art studio, and the nursery offers ample secure outdoor space with rolling countryside views. Requirements
As the Nursery Manager you will:
Have at least 4 years of working within full day-care Nursery settings.
Have managed a nursery setting and ideally have taken a nursery setting through an Ofsted Inspection.
Can inspire a team and lead by example.
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development
Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development
Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff, parent and visitor always
Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met
Qualified level 3 or above and at least 6 years' experience of working in a Nursery
