Job Purpose

We're looking for a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Advisor to join our HR Services team. As a key member of the HR team, you'll support strategic initiatives and work alongside various departments to provide high-quality advice and operational support on a wide range of HR issues. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in HR practices who is looking to advance their advisory skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Principal Accountabilities
  1. Employee Relations Support

    • Provide timely, accurate advice on HR policies, employee relations issues, and legislative compliance, helping to resolve queries and manage casework related to disciplinary actions, grievances, performance issues, and absenteeism.
  2. Policy and Procedure Guidance

    • Advise managers and staff on organizational HR policies and procedures, ensuring fair and consistent application across all teams.
  3. Recruitment and Selection

    • Support hiring managers through the recruitment process, from drafting job descriptions and conducting interviews to onboarding new employees and ensuring compliance with pre-employment checks.
  4. Learning and Development

    • Assist in identifying training needs within departments, contributing to the planning and coordination of professional development activities for employees.
  5. HR Projects

    • Participate in and contribute to HR-led projects, such as policy reviews, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  6. Data Management and Reporting

    • Maintain and update HR records and data systems accurately, producing regular reports on key HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  7. Compliance and Confidentiality

    • Ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Protection requirements, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and promoting best practices in data security.
