Our client, a growing company based in Wooburn Green, is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading the Warehouse Team and ensuring the day-to-day running goes smoothly.

Our client would consider either an experienced Warehouse Manager or a Warehouse Supervisor looking for the next step in their career.

Hours of work are Friday - Tuesday 7.30am - 4pm

Duties include

  • Training and managing a warehouse team of 7 (and growing) to solve day-to-day operational issues
  • Ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal
  • Overseeing the preparation of all orders for customers to ensure orders are prepped perfectly
  • Value-adding to the team's culture and holding standards high, being unafraid to get stuck in when needed
  • Overseeing daily operations while controlling and managing inventory
  • Scheduling warehouse team rotas, and managing the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

Skills/Experience

  • A clear communicator with a positive and cheerful outlook
  • A leader and a presence within the warehouse
  • Able to put your team first
  • Technologically proficient
  • A forklift license or an IOSH certificate would be a benefit but not essential
