Due to continued growth, the Operations Director is looking to attract into his team a Production Manager who will lead and develop a team of fifty.
Key responsibilities within this key role will be to: -
- Develop, implement and distribute efficient work schedules that will meet customer demand and maximise resources.
- Optimise resource utilisation.
- Ensure on time delivery into inventory.
- Maximise production efficiencies across the site.
- Provide input into resource planning by assessing manpower, equipment and material needs.
- Identify, develop and execute improvement initiatives.
- Be involved in the monthly Senior Leadership meetings and quarterly reviews.
The successful candidate will: -
- Have production management experience gained in a CNC/precision engineering environment.
- Be an engaging leader who thrives developing teams.
- Have experience of continuous improvement activity.
- Have a collaborative approach.
- Have excellent communication skills.
