Our client is a growing start up who have been expanding for the past 5 years. Specialising in woodworking and joinery for retail and events displays- there is now room for a production manager to join the team in Aylesbury.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage Production across all stages- ensuring timescales and KPIs are met
- Managing contractors and freelancers on site
- Risk Assessments and Managing Health and Safety on site
- Liasing with suppliers and Project Managers as well as outsourcing for additional needs
- Occasional site visits- primarily in London
- Managing the CNC machinists and finishing department
- Producing quotes, negotiating prices, purchasing equipment and materials, managing stock
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a Project Management/ Production Management role
- Knowledge of woodworking/ joinery environments
- Knowledge of the retail, exhibition, events sector would be beneficial
