Quality Inspector (Contract)

Our client are currently expanding and looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team!

Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspection and testing of materials and components using various processes and technique
  • Following job card instructions, drawings, specifications, and applicable quality procedures
  • To accurately interpret component drawings and test procedures, ensuring that part numbers, drawing revisions, product requirements, and special process needs are properly identified and applied
  • Generate inspection and non-conformance reports in line with the company’s quality policy
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality issues
  • Complete tasks according to work schedules to ensure productivity is maintained at the highest level

Quality Inspector Ideal Candidate:

  • Have experience of using inspection tools such as Verniers and Micrometres
  • Have expertise of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing
  • Standard computer skills such as Microsoft word and excel
  • Knowledge of using CMM is required
  • Ability to read/interpret and understand technical drawings/cad models.
  • Physical ability to lift and move light to medium weights during inspection activities

  • Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 17:30
  • Ability to spread working hours over 5 days
