Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a leading developer, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and surveying functions on their dynamic development projects. If you're looking to contribute to the cost-effective and successful delivery of major schemes, this role will be of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of detailed reports and cost monitoring
Identifying risks and opportunities for cost savings
Collaborating with technical teams and consultants to align designs with budget
Engaging with the supply chain for early value engineering
Overseeing subcontract procurement and tendering
Managing subcontractor payments, contracts, and variations
Regularly attending project meetings to ensure progress and compliance
Producing monthly cost reports and finalizing accounts

About You:

Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying or Construction
Minimum of 2+ years industry experience
Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented
Effective communicator with strong leadership qualities
