Quantity Surveyor

Location: TaplowPosition Type: Permanent

Our client, a leading developer, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial and surveying functions on their dynamic development projects. If you're looking to contribute to the cost-effective and successful delivery of major schemes, this role will be of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of detailed reports and cost monitoring
  • Identifying risks and opportunities for cost savings
  • Collaborating with technical teams and consultants to align designs with budget
  • Engaging with the supply chain for early value engineering
  • Overseeing subcontract procurement and tendering
  • Managing subcontractor payments, contracts, and variations
  • Regularly attending project meetings to ensure progress and compliance
  • Producing monthly cost reports and finalizing accounts

  • Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying or Construction
