As a Parts Advisor, you will play a key role in a busy department, ensuring the correct parts are ordered for internal and external customers while delivering exceptional service. Your Role:
Process incoming orders for spare parts accurately and promptly.
Verify order details, including part numbers, quantities, and delivery dates.
Track orders from receipt through to completion, ensuring timely execution.
Sourced and procured locally supplied replacement parts when needed.
Identify and resolve any issues related to spare parts orders, such as incorrect shipments or damaged goods.
Prioritise urgent orders to minimise disruptions and maintain customer satisfaction.
Support continuous improvement initiatives alongside the Supply Chain Manager.
Managed warranty units and exchange returns in line with company procedures.
Ensure all transactions are processed correctly using the IT system.
Assist with stock checks and liaise with the warehouse team for accurate dispatch.
Maintain a professional and polished image at all times.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in parts sales (minimum 3 years).
Background in order handling and inventory management.
Strong customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and remain calm under pressure.
Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
