The Role and the Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field (a teaching qualification is preferred)
  • The Ideal candidate will have proven experience in teaching science, either through previous employment or student teaching
  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students of various grade levels, incorporating theoretical concepts and practical experiments
  • Teach various branches of science, including biology, chemistry, and physics, with a focus on fostering curiosity and critical thinking
  • Create and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment to students with diverse learning abilities that encourages student participation and promotes a love for scientific exploration
