Are you an enthusiastic and caring individual with a passion for early childhood education? Do you love working with young children, nurturing their development and helping them flourish in their formative years? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a warm and dynamic team in the Weston Turville area.

 

The school:

The Early Years program is built on the principles of exploration, play, and discovery, where each child's unique qualities and interests are celebrated. The role:

  • Support the Early Years teacher in planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 5 years
  • Assist in creating a safe, welcoming, and organized learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence
  • Foster positive relationships with students, helping them to build self-confidence and develop social skills
  • Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents
  • Collaborate with the EYFS team to develop and implement creative learning experiences that cater to the needs of individual children
  • Encourage children's curiosity and exploration through a variety of play-based learning opportunities

 

The ideal candidate:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development
  • Relevant experience in an EYFS setting or similar educational environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • A patient and nurturing approach, coupled with the ability to inspire and engage young learners
