JOB - FabricatorLOCATION - AylesburyTERM - PermanentSALARY - £25,000-£30,000Premier Engineering is working with a well-established engineering company based in Aylesbury that is looking to hire a Fabricator. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in metal fabrication and welding.The Fabricator will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience as a Fabricator, Welder, or similar role.
  • Strong skills in metal fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Experience working with materials such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
  • Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery, including presses, saws, and grinders.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The Fabricator role will involve:
  • Fabricating metal components and structures according to specifications.
  • Operating workshop machinery and tools safely and effectively.
  • Carrying out MIG, TIG, or ARC welding as required.
  • Assembling and finishing fabricated parts to a high standard.
  • Ensuring all work meets quality control and safety standards.
  • Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure project deadlines are met.
