The school is seeking a PMLD Specialist SEN Teacher to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Your Role:

Collaborate with teaching assistants and staff to plan and deliver engaging, tailored activities for PMLD students.
Develop holistic learning approaches, focusing on individual strategies to support meaningful progress.
Lead in creating and reviewing Individual Education/Behaviour Plans, Risk Assessments, and Therapy Care programmes.
Work in partnership with families, external agencies, and school staff to provide comprehensive support.
Build therapeutic relationships with students, adapting interactions to meet their unique needs.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience teaching students with PMLD or a passion for supporting those with complex needs.
Strong knowledge of SEN and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.
Flexibility to work full-time or part-time, with fixed working days.
A valid, clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Relevant training or qualifications in supporting students with learning difficulties.
